The journey

11 days, 8 nights, lifetime of memories

01

Embark on the journey

The tour will start at KLIA, where the group will meet with the tour guide. After check-in, we board the flight that will take us from the lovely humid warmth to the crisp clear winter in the north. Adventure begins!

02

Welcome to Finland

The tour arrives to Helsinki where we get to relax and acclimatize to the Nordic weather. Don't worry, it's an easy step before we head to cold Lapland. In the evening we head to some local cuisine and orientation for what the following days will bring.  Night at 4-star hotel.

03

Best way to start the trip across Finland!

To start the day, we head to a place said to be among the top 100 places in the world by Time magazine! Sauna and dip into the freezing waters is the foundation of Finnish happiness. Afterwards there is option to explore the beautiful downtown of Helsinki, embark on a shopping spree or do some ice skating before we take the night train to the snow covered Lapland.

04

Arrival to Rovaniemi - capital of Lapland and home of Santa

The train makes way through Finland and arrives to Rovaniemi in the morning. After breakfast we head to Santa's Village, where we can meet Santa and his elves, also enjoy a reindeer ride (optional) by one of Santa’s reindeers (only on land, no flying this time). Afterwards we head to another wonder of the north - SnowHotel where we explore the secrets it keeps inside and  when the day is done, we stay the night in the comfort of the icy warmth. Experience like no else!

05

Glass Igloo Village

After wakeup and easy breakfast,  we head even more north to the beautiful Glass Igloo village. During the day, we embark on a tour exploring the stunning landscapes on a snowmobile before retreating back to enjoy group dinner and later get cozy in our igloos under the stars. Night at Glass Igloos

07

Snowslides and change of scenery

After we leave the Igloo Village behind, we head to a local hill and do what all the kids in North do during winter (and adults want too)  - tobogganing! Then we continue the journey towards western Lapland and head to our next accommodation, one that's received awards such as "the best boutique hotel in the world"!

06

Huskies - man's best friend

Today we embark on a 2-hour husky exploration where we get to know our dogs and learn how to lead them though the snowy frontiers. We are also going to stop by at the biggest planetarium in the North where we learn about the vastness of the Northern Sky. Evening we enjoy the warmth of our Igloos and see what the night sky holds tonight.

08

Winter fun day!

Today is a snow play day! This day is reserved for each one to do as heart pleases. There is options for downhill skiing, snowboarding, Nordic skiing, Snow shoeing, eFatbike rides, Ice Karting and so much more!  You can choose from a variety of activities to fill your time. Or if you just want to enjoy the atmosphere of this fantastic town and its cafes and restaurants, that’ll easily fill your day too.

Ice fishing & Sauna

Today we try out our skills in how we would survive the long winter by practicing ice fishing and warm ourselves after with traditional smoke sauna experience. After getting our Lapland baptism by a local shaman we head to our fabulous group dinner to share stories of our adventures.

10

Farewell to Lapland, until next time!

Bid farewell to the Arctic Circle as we get ready for the flight back home. But before that, we stop in Helsinki and do a visit to local outlet mall to do last minute shopping. In the evening we board the flight back to Asia, carrying memories that will last a lifetime.
